From 1986 to present, Bob has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Corus Financial Group, which provides financial and operational management consulting services and corporate finance and M&A advisory services in Canada, the United States and UK, primarily in mineral exploration, real estate, technology and manufacturing. He has held several senior financial or operational roles with investees and clients throughout his career.
Bob also has business interests in mineral exploration (Prince George, BC) and manufacturing (West Kelowna, BC).
Prior to forming the Corus Financial Group, Bob was a senior audit manager with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. (now KPMG) in the firm’s Vancouver office.
Bob graduated from Pen Hi in 1974. Bob received a BComm from the University of British Columbia in accounting and management information systems in 1979 and was admitted to the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia in 1981. He is currently a member in good standing with CPABC. Bob also completed Institute of Corporate Directors training in 2006.
Bob is a director and treasurer of the Penticton & District Hospice Society.
Bob is also a director of the St. John Society (BC & Yukon). He sits on the Society’s Finance and Audit Committee and volunteers with the St. John Ambulance therapy dog program.
Bob recently joined board of the Penticton Secondary Schools Bursary & Scholarship Foundation. He is a long-time donor and supporter of the Foundation’s mission. He is the director responsible for donor engagement, development and recognition.
